This study examines the attitudes of the Liechtenstein population towards the media, media usage and media funding. To this end, two online surveys were conducted in 2023 and 2025/2026. This makes it possible to track changes in media usage and attitudes towards media policy over a period of two and a half years.

For both survey waves, the same group of around 3,500 randomly selected Liechtenstein residents aged between 16 and 79 were contacted. 1,390 people took part in the first survey (27 September to 15 November 2023), and 1,008 people in the second survey (12 November 2025 to 6 January 2026). The study was commissioned by the Government.
