The media landscape is in a constant state of flux. On the one hand, there are new possibilities for the distribution of media and information, while on the other hand the media usage and information behavior of the population is changing. To date, only little data is available on general media use in Liechtenstein and trust in the Liechtenstein media. Against this backdrop, the government commissioned the Liechtenstein Institute to conduct a survey on media usage behavior and the expectations of the Liechtenstein population with regard to the media. The study was published at the end of February 2024.
Thomas Milic, Head of Political Research at the Liechtenstein Institute and co-author of the study, presents the results of the study to LPC members. Christian Frommelt, Rector of the University of Liechtenstein, shared his views on the current framework conditions in Liechtenstein.
The two speakers will then be available for questions and answers from the audience.
