Politics, history and lots of books - WPK Politics of the LG visits the Liechtenstein Institute
To kick things off, the participants had fun exploring milestones in Liechtenstein's history. Historian Fabian Frommelt then gave a concise insight into the National Socialist era and Liechtenstein.
Another item on the program was an interactive tour of the library. Among other things, the oldest book in the collection was presented - an edition of Hugo Grotius' work De jure belli ac pacis from 1646. A practical research exercise deepened this part of the visit.
After a short break, Thomas Milic explained his work as a political scientist in a science slam and answered the students' questions. Finally, the pupils dealt with the evaluation of a survey on the information behavior of the population in which they themselves had taken part.
