State elections 2025: Detailed analysis of the election survey is available

9 Jul 2025 - Umfrage
The results of a comprehensive online survey conducted by the Liechtenstein Institute on the 2025 parliamentary elections are now available. Over 1,300 voters who took part in the elections also took part in the survey. This allowed us to gain differentiated insights into the voting behavior, motives and information behavior of the Liechtenstein electorate.

Among other things, the analysis focuses on the party-political shifts between the 2021 and 2025 elections, the role of the leading candidates and the nominated government teams, the importance of programmatic content and panache behavior.

The analysis shows: Voter movements are more complex than the election results suggest. The composition of the government teams in particular had a considerable influence on voting decisions. It also shows that a large proportion of the electorate is politically positioned in the center or slightly to the right - in an area where several parties are competing for approval.

The publication "Landtagswahlen 2025 - Ergebnisse der Wahlumfrage" is published as volume 57 of the "Beiträge Liechtenstein-Institut" series. It is available for download on the Liechtenstein Institute website and can be obtained free of charge as a print version from the Liechtenstein Institute.
