Thinking ahead together: Liechtenstein Institute retreat

30 Jun 2025 - Notification
From June 26 to 28, the Liechtenstein Institute team went on an intensive two-and-a-half-day retreat at the Propstei St. Gerold (A) to discuss key topics relevant to the Institute and to further develop the Institute.

The retreat focused on the strategic development of the institute. In intensive work phases, the team reflected on the current research areas and discussed their future direction. The aim was to identify synergies, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and discuss current challenges together.

A central topic was the Institute's mission statement, which is to be further refined as a common orientation framework. External communication was also discussed in detail - from traditional media to digital formats. The focus was on the Institute's visibility in the public eye and in the scientific community. The participants also exchanged views on publication strategies, event formats and new ways of communicating knowledge.

The Institute's research culture, networking and social relevance were further topics of discussion. Finally, concrete measures were defined for the coming months in order to sustainably implement the impulses developed.

The retreat provided space for reflection, creative ideas and joint design in order to further develop the Liechtenstein Institute in a future-oriented and effective manner.
