The handbook "Liechtenstein's Political System" provides a comprehensive overview of our country's political system - from the Prince, government and parliament to parties, media and civil society, international relations and the education system. A new series of articles in lie:zeit takes up some of the key topics from the handbook.
To coincide with the national holiday on August 15, the August issue of lie:Zeit examined the topic of "sovereignty". When asked about the aim of the handbook, Wilfried Marxer said: "We want to arouse interest in the functioning of politics - and contribute to an informed, critical and committed discourse".
The handbook was published as Volume 1 in a new series of publications by the Liechtenstein Institute at Nomos-Verlag. The handbook was edited by Wilfried Marxer, Thomas Milic and Philippe Rochat. It can be purchased in bookshops or directly from Nomos-Verlag.
It is also available online free of charge - as a complete work or chapter by chapter.
