Policy Cycle

The research project analyses the legislative process in Liechtenstein. It essentially comprises a consultation process, the various readings in the State Parliament, the sanction by the Reigning Prince and the publication in the State Law Gazette. Within the framework of the research project, it will now be shown where and when in this process which changes are made by which actors. The analysis will be carried out by taking into account the characteristics and features of the respective draft law, such as policy field, regulatory purpose or impulse or originator. In addition to the state parliament or the parliamentary groups and deputies represented in the state parliament, the research project also takes into account other political actors such as associations and municipalities, which are involved in the political process, particularly in the context of the consultation process.
