Narrative forms in the history of science
His presentation focused on short-term, medium-term and long-term forms of engagement with a scientific topic or field of activity and how these forms can be recorded historically and have a lasting effect. Using the example of the discovery and development of the understanding of the "language" of the genetic code and protein biosynthesis during the second half of the 20th century, he was also able to present a case study from his own experience as a molecular biologist on a scientific development that is still influential today.
