Economic and Financial Data on Liechtenstein

The Liechtenstein Institute prepares and comments on data from various national and international sources. They are supplemented by data estimates from research of the Liechtenstein Institute. The brochure is intended to serve employees of the Government and the Administration to compile dossiers and background information on Liechtenstein as a business location. It also provides the public with an easy-to-understand overview of the Liechtenstein national economy, thus saving them from tedious data and information searches. In addition, it offers brief economic analyses of the development presented, explanations of terms and definitions, and a temporal and international comparison. These figures and assessments are also available in English, thus closing an important gap that existed for interested parties from abroad (international organizations, foreign authorities, rating agencies, media, investors, researchers, etc.).

The annual report was published for the first time in 2018 and is a module of the «Applied Economic Analysis», which is supported by Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
