Given the size of Liechtenstein’s economy, the degree of export diversification is surprisingly high. Goods exports are less diversified compared to larger countries (e.g. Germany, Austria, USA), while they are more diversified compared to other small states (e.g. Andorra, Iceland). Since the financial crisis of 2008, export diversification in Liechtenstein is higher than in Switzerland.
