On November 23, the 8th Gutenberg Ethics Forum took place at Haus Gutenberg in Balzers, at which Andreas Brunhart from the Liechtenstein Institute also held a presentation. The theme of this year's Ethics Forum was «The power of money».

After the opening presentation «On the responsibility of property» by Christian Neuhäuser (Professor of Philosophy at the Technical University of Dortmund), three parallel lectures took place: Jens Martignoni (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) shed light on alternative monetary systems, Marc Gottschald (Center for Philanthropy, University of Liechtenstein) discussed the question of why people are generous and Andreas Brunhart (Liechtenstein Institute) spoke on the topic «Does money make you happy? Economic growth in the context of prosperity, satisfaction and distribution». The evening was rounded off with a panel discussion.
