Research fellow at the Liechtenstein Institute receives award

Jörg Paetzold, economist at the Liechtenstein Institute and the University of Salzburg, and Hannes Winner have won the University of Salzburg’s “Kurt Zopf Award for Scientific Publications 2024”, endowed with 4,000 euros.

The prize honors postdoctoral scientists whose high-ranking original publications have attracted international attention and made significant contributions to their field. The award-winning work “Impacts of rapid mass vaccination against SARS-CoV2 in an early variant of concern hotspot” was published in the renowned journal Nature Communications.
