Liechtenstein Education Report 2024 published

8 Oct 2024 - Neue Publikation
To evaluate the performance of the education system, the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein commissioned the Liechtenstein Institute to compile an education report for Liechtenstein. A pilot study was published in 2021 and the education report has now been published for the first time. The report was presented at a media conference at the Liechtenstein Institute on October 8 in the presence of Minister of Education Dominique Hasler.

Every four years, the Education Report provides a systematic review of Liechtenstein's education system based on data from official statistics, the Education Office and scientific surveys. In close cooperation with the Education Office and in regular exchange with the Swiss Coordination Office for Research in Education (SKBF), author Kristina Budimir prepared the Education Report 2024, which shows the status and developments in the various areas of Liechtenstein's education system from kindergarten to university. The effectiveness and efficiency of Liechtenstein's education system is assessed on the basis of selected data and education indicators. It also examines whether equal educational opportunities are guaranteed. Whenever possible, the performance of the Liechtenstein education system is compared internationally.

The education report provides an evidence-based foundation for well-founded education planning as well as for adjustments to education goals and education strategy.
