IMF delegation holds consultations at the Liechtenstein Institute
As the central point of contact for questions relating to macroeconomic developments in Liechtenstein’s economy, the Liechtenstein Institute plays an important role in exchanges with the IMF. In addition, the Economics Department is represented in the coordination group for the expansion of macroeconomic statistics in Liechtenstein, which implements key recommendations from the IMF for improving the data basis. In addition to further consultation meetings held at the Liechtenstein Institute, Andreas Brunhart and Martin Geiger presented the current macroeconomic developments against the backdrop of weakening global economic activity.
