Politics department at the Liechtenstein Institute receives reinforcement
Political scientist Karin Frick, M.A., has recently joined the Liechtenstein Institute’s Department of Politics. Karin Frick grew up in Balzers and graduated from the Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium in Vaduz. She then studied social sciences (B.A.) and political science (M.A.) at the University of Bern. She recently submitted her dissertation on the topic of parliamentary deputization and representation at the Institute of Political Science, Année Politique Suisse, under the supervision of Professor Marc Bühlmann at the University of Bern.
The Department of Politics at the Liechtenstein Institute works on various fundamental and applied research topics relevant to Liechtenstein. In particular, the focus is on current developments and issues that concern the government, parliament and population in Liechtenstein. Examples of this include issue-focused votes or parliamentary elections, as well as research into political history or social science topics.
The Institute is delighted to welcome Karin Frick to strengthen its team in these areas!
