Business Cycle Chronology Liechtenstein

There exist various historic or economic publications on Liechtenstein’s fast economic growth after World War II. But, a detailed examination of the short-run business cycle influences along this fast long-run growth trend is still missing. Apart from the statistical analysis of Liechtenstein’s economic time series data base, a chronological (economic historical) inspection of all the relevant sources from the past six centuries is in focus of this project. Doing so, a summarizing business cycle chronology – also in the context of international economic fluctuations and shocks – is aimed at. 

First results have been graphically illustrated and published in June 2017 in several LI Facts. Additionally a more detailed publication is planned.
